Hello everyone! My name is Cameron Read and I am from the small town and Pizza Capital of the world, Old Forge, Pennsylvania. I am currently a full time student at The University of Scranton pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. I hold an ACE Personal Trainer Certification and am CPR/AED certified. Ever since I was a young child, my dream has been to care for others and their overall well-being. This is why I chose the Healthcare Field and set out to become a Personal Trainer.

Personally, I know how challenging it is to be a student, exercise, eat healthy, maintain a social life, etc. I do not have hours of time to spend in the gym or constantly stress about food. I used to walk around the gym on my phone, ended up on the treadmill, and finished with five minute abs. I was always “skinny” growing up and never had to worry until I started my freshman year of college. Unlimited pizza, french fries, ice cream, Chick-Fil-A, YOU NAME IT, I was there. The weight kept piling on and I knew I had to make a change. I always thought that  cardio was the answer and that lifting weights would make me “bulky”. My life has transformed completely when I decided to hit the weight section 5x per week and follow a macro-based nutrition program. Ever since I started this journey, I have never looked back.
